GameStop today announced via a press release, that officially, they are taking no more pre-orders for the Wii in the US.
This was on the day (Friday, October 13th) that they started selling the Wii, and they ran out!!!!
GameStop is the world’s largest video game and entertainment software retailer and owns GameStop.com and EBgames.com.

I think a lot of gamers know about this problem…

A new console is announced
A launch date is confirmed
Pre-order date is confirmed
You wait for ages on a list
You keep waiting
Finally the day comes
You spend all day trying to pre-order the damned thing using every method you can think of
You don’t get one!!!!
