New Super Mario Bros Wii Limited Edition Tin revealed at

Super Mario Bros have just announced that they are selling the New Super Mario Bros. Wii with a Limited Edition Tin. It is priced at for £49.99 and is available for pre-order for the release date here in the UK of 11th November.

From the pictures it look like there is an opening at the top. So I’m possibly thinking that this could be used as a piggy-bank? Does any else have any ideas what this could be used for? Or is it just a fancy tin to keep on a shelf, mantle-piece etc? I digress!

Super Mario Bros WiiThere aren’t any other details available yet as to what is also in the Limited Edition Tin. I’m assuming there should be some other exclusive goodies inside though, as otherwise it’s quite a big jump in price from the standard preorder value of £34.99 (Although the suggested retail price on the should be £44.99 for the standard game). I’m hoping for a bonus disc, or maybe a toy yoshi! I’d hedge my bets though that we’ll probably either get nothing extra at all, except the tin itself, or maybe a keyring?

New Super Mario Bros Wii Limited Edition Tin £49.99

Super Mario Bros WiiNew Super Mario Bros Wii is a throwback to the great days of classic 2D side-scrolling Mario games. I’m really excited about the prospect of of playing with up to 4 players, although in my case I’d be competing and battling with the other players. Some might choose to co-operate with one another, but I’d be after all the coins myself! Bring it on!
